About Shillong Teer
The Khasi Hills Archery Sports Association (KHASA) oversees Shillong Teer, which is contested at the Shillong Polo Ground. The game is also geared towards the promotion of archery amongst the regional youth and for awarding cash prizes.
How to Play Shillong Teer
The game consists of two rounds a day:
- First Round: There are 30 arrows shot.
- Second Round: There are 20 arrows shot.
- Players choose a number between 0 and 99, depending on their guess of how many arrows will hit the target.
Tickets are made available in the denominations of Rs 1, Rs 5, Rs 10, Rs 20, and Rs 50; and tickets are to be acquired only from authorized sellers.
Prize Money Details
- Guessing right in the first round with a Rs 1 ticket will result in Rs 80.
- Second Round: Rs 1 ticket, Rs 60 for a correct guess
- Correct guesses for both rounds: Up to Rs 4,000 for a Rs 1 ticket for each round
